Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!

I guess it’s time to start planning for a new 2006 year. (Aside: Anyone besides me still wondering how the hell humanity managed to get back the year 2000? I mean, we are in 2006! 6 years after and I still can’t get my head around the weirdness of a ‘2’ in front of years….There must be a word for this)

But first, some updates on what happended this Christmas. First off, the Grinch did NOT steal Christmas….Sorry couldn’t resist it. Instead, the everlasting turkey made its debut in flat 39, of Everton Hall. (Merry thanks to David, our assistant-in-chef).

The aforementioned turkey was to be the main theme (course) of the Annual Christmas Party!! Having a well-deserved holiday, I thought of hosting a party for once. A couple of texts found Ashweena and Zack(who came from Christchurch this Xmas), David, Eric and Ling. :) Pity our BA in residence, Summer, was on diet(!) and did not want to join in the festivities. Oh, well.

It turned out that Eric and Ling already beat me to the rush, so we joined in their party instead, with the turkey in hand (they lacked one, anyhow :) )

Oh, that’s me happily carving the turkey up. That’s one of the very few photos that we took that night. Silly me, to forget taking pictures….must remember next time…
